24 Season 7

Jack is back! Jack is back! Sorry, got a little excited there.

We open with a man being abducted from his car by a team hooded men in two vans. They tell him only that they need him to help them with a problem.

Cut to Jack being questioned by a Senate committee about some of his past interrogation techniques with the now-defunct CTU. Jack admits to having used torture to prevent terrorist activity, and is perfectly willing to be judged for his actions. At this point the proceedings are interrupted by two FBI agents with a subpoena for Jack. The agents (Walker and Taylor) leave with Jack without giving a reason. Jack is told by the senator he must return the following morning at the same time - just 24 hours later.

Walker calls into the office and is told by Janis (Janeane Garofalo) that the man from the first scene (Latham) designed the firewall for Homeland Security. Still at the FBI office we're shown a briefing by agent Larry Moss (apparently running the show) who tells the room they've been following a series of tech break-ins and believe Latham was abducted in order to help the criminals get by Homeland's firewall, Classified Infrastructure Port. .... imdb.com

24 Season 3

Day 3 sees CTU deal with a deadly virus threat that would be released in Los Angeles. We again see the return of Jack’s nemesis Nina Myers just as he is trying to overcome a heroin addiction after his undercover operation with the Salazar’s, as others feel he still has not gotten over the death of wife Teri at the end of the first day. Jack has a new partner in Chase Edmunds, but things take a turn for the worst when it is revealed Chase is seeing his daughter Kim, and it causes tension among the three of them.

President Palmer is seeking re-election against Senator John Keeler, but his campaign turns sour after one of his major backers, Alan Milliken, discovers Palmer’s brother, Wayne, has been sleeping with Milliken's wife, Julia. Palmer's campaign suffers a major blow when revelations come out about his girlfriend and personal physician Anne Packard. The president turns to his ex-wife Sherry to deal with Milliken. She takes it all a step too far as she kills Milliken by not allowing him his medication, which he needs to stay alive. Despite David Palmer's best cover-up efforts, Keeler uses it as leverage in the campaign and essentially forces Palmer to abandon his re-election bid. Towards the end of the day, Julia kills Sherry before taking her own life.

Back at CTU, it turns out that Tony Almeida, Gael Ortega, and Jack have been working undercover on a sting operation. Chase is initially unaware of the situation and attempts to “rescue” Jack, who is being held captive by the Salazars. Tony recovers from gun shot wounds to return as head of CTU, with many doubting his abilities.

Indo-webster 24 Season 3:

24 Season 1

24 is a great TV series. It's design and story lines are really a thrill to experience. The day out of the life of agent Jack Bauer is one of a kind. The series plays in real time (including the commercial breaks).

I can certainly recommend to watch this series. It's even more fantastic, if you not watch it as it's aired, but record some episodes and then watch them in in a pattern of 2 per evening for some days after another. In this way you find yourself addicted to the adrenaline which 24 unleashes.

This is TV as it was designed. I must admit that I look forward to the movie which is planned. I hope not that it's a normal movie, but that they put elements of the real time (or something similar) into it. At least the thrill should be similar.
